There is no hierarchy in the work of Gérard Meurant (born in 1983, Belgium). Archives, sketches, preparations for his projects, even a noise composition, they all constitute his way of proceeding, always built in a specific context. Without working in an established studio, Gérard Meurant integrates the exhibition space, moving his prints, his machines, his material. The installation takes place, somewhere between electronic music and its elliptic and repetitive movements, architectural dimension and series of printed textures.
